1001 Books, an initative by Asemana Books, seeks to celebrate the rich literary and linguistic diversity of the Middle East through curating multilingual book exhibitions that bridges cultures, communities, and histories. By showcasing works in Arabic, Persian, Kurdish, Turkish, and other regional languages alongside their translations, the exhibition promotes cross-cultural understanding, highlights the role of translation in knowledge exchange, and affirms the enduring vitality of multilingual expression.

We’re proud to announce that with the addition of Nokja, Hafteh, and Radian, the lineup of exhibitors at the Toronto Persian Book Fair is now complete and stronger than ever.
Organized in collaboration with 1001 Books and the Cyrus Film Festival, and supported by Global Link, the fair will take place on November 14–15, bringing together leading Persian-language publishers and bookstores from Canada and Europe to showcase their latest publications.
