Abbas Shokri

Abbas Shokri is a writer, translator, journalist, and the founder of Aftab Publishing in Norway. To date, he has published 18 books, including both translations and original works.

He previously served as editor-in-chief of the literary and cultural magazine Aftab, which published 84 issues over eleven years (1993–2004). In recent years, his journalistic work has included contributions to print, visual, and broadcast media, including Shahrvand Canada, Shahrgon in Vancouver, Radio Farda, and the BBC.
