Majid Saberi

Majid Saberi was born and raised in Shiraz. He studied graphic design at art school, earned his bachelor’s degree in dramatic literature, and, before emigrating, completed a master’s degree in television production at the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting University. After moving to Canada, he studied nursing and currently works as a nurse in Syracuse, New York. Throughout these years, philosophy and literature have remained his primary intellectual preoccupations.
His first short-story collection, A Face Devoid of Inhabitants, was published in Iran by Negah Publishing. His second collection, The Andiya Trilogy, is forthcoming from Asemana Books.
