ماجراهای لنز و قلم، سومین دفتر از خاطرات رضا علامه‌زاده است. هرچند در عنوان نخستین اثر او نشانی از خاطره‌نویسی دیده نمی‌شود، اما بخش عمده‌ای از آن کتاب حاصل مشاهدات و تجربه‌های شخصی او در «سندیکای هنرمندان و کارکنان سینمای ایران» و «کانون سینماگران پیشرو» در نخستین سال‌های پس از استقرار جمهوری اسلامی است. آن کتاب با عنوان «سراب سینمای اسلامی ایران» در سال 1991 توسط انتشارات نوید در آلمان منتشر شد.

دومین کتاب خاطرات او، «دستی در هنر، چشمی بر سیاست»، روایتی مستقیم از دوران زندان اوست؛ اثری که در سال 2012 از سوی «شرکت کتاب» در لس‌آنجلس انتشار یافت.

اینک سومین کتاب خاطراتش با عنوان ماجراهای لنز و قلم؛ مجموعه‌ای از یادمانده‌های نزدیک به شش دهه فعالیت مستمر علامه‌زاده با لنز و قلم است

The Adventures of Lens and Pen is the third volume of Reza Allamehzadeh’s memoirs. Although the title of his first book does not explicitly suggest a memoir, a large part of that work is in fact drawn from his personal observations and experiences in the Syndicate of Iranian Cinema Artists and Employees and the Association of Progressive Filmmakers during the early years after the establishment of the Islamic Republic. That book, titled The Mirage of Islamic Cinema in Iran, was published in 1991 by Navid Publishing in Germany.

His second memoir, A Hand in Art, an Eye on Politics, is a direct account of his years in prison; it was released in 2012 by Ketab Corporation in Los Angeles.

Now comes his third volume of memoirs, The Adventures of Lens and Pen—a collection of recollections from nearly six decades of Allamehzadeh’s continuous work with the camera and the written word.

رضا علامه‌زاده (متولد 1943) فیلم‌ساز، نویسنده و روزنامه‌نگار ایرانی است که بیش از شش دهه در سینما، ادبیات و فعالیت‌های فرهنگی حضور داشته است. او از اعضای فعال «سندیکای هنرمندان و کارکنان سینمای ایران» و «کانون سینماگران پیشرو» در سال‌های پرتحول پس از انقلاب بود و پس از ترک ایران، فعالیت‌های هنری‌اش را در اروپا ادامه داد.

علامه‌زاده کارنامه‌ای گسترده در فیلم مستند، سینمای تبعید، و ادبیات داستانی دارد و آثارش—از جمله رمان‌ها، مجموعه‌داستان‌ها و سه کتاب خاطرات—در مرز میان تجربهٔ شخصی و تخیل هنری حرکت می‌کنند. او با نگاهی انتقادی و انسانی، همواره به مسائل اجتماعی، آزادی بیان و سرگذشت تبعیدیان پرداخته است.

Reza Allamehzadeh

Reza Allamehzadeh (born 1943) is an Iranian filmmaker, writer, and journalist whose career spans more than six decades across cinema, literature, and cultural activism. A former member of the Iranian Film Artists’ Syndicate and the Progressive Filmmakers Association, he played an active role in the cultural landscape of Iran before leaving the country and continuing his work in Europe.

Allamehzadeh’s body of work includes documentaries, feature films, novels, short stories, and three volumes of memoirs. His writing and filmmaking often blend personal experience with creative imagination, addressing themes of social justice, freedom of expression, and the lived reality of exile. His voice remains a distinctive and influential presence in the world of Iranian diasporic arts and letters.
